In the old days to catch a monkey you would
cut a hole in a coconut and place a shiny bead inside. The hole would be large enough to place his open hand into it, but
too small for him to take his clenched fist out. When the monkey saw the bead, it would reach in and grab the bead, but
it couldn't withdraw the hand while holding the bead. It wouldn't let go of the bead. As a small monket can't move very
fast when attached to a large coconut, the hunter easliy caught the monkey.
